Washing Referee clothing

Proper maintenance of referees' clothing will make it last longer and retain its quality. Some handy tips on how to wash and care for your referees' clothing properly:

Use the right wash programme: Always choose a mild wash programme, preferably at 30 degrees. This helps to protect fabrics and colours, while still effectively removing dirt and sweat.

Use the right amount of detergent: Do not use too much detergent. A small amount is often enough to get clothes clean. Too much detergent can build up in fabrics and reduce the breathability of the material.

Avoid bleach: Bleach can damage fabrics and cause colours to fade. Therefore, never use bleach when washing referees' clothing. Instead, choose a mild, colour-friendly detergent.

Allow clothes to air dry: Dry referees' clothes preferably by air and avoid the dryer. The heat from a dryer can damage fabrics and alter the fit of the clothes. Air-drying keeps the clothes in good condition for longer.
